Giant walkabout puppet masterclass with Andrew Kim
Rotherham, England
In this 10-day masterclass in Rotherham, a group of artists will work with giant puppet maker Andrew Kim of Thingumajig Theatre to make a new giant walkabout puppet. The puppet will become one of a group of climate mascots for Rotherham, encouraging communities to take action to tackle climate change and support nature recovery.
Artists will learn the creative process from design, sculpting, covering, building structures and mechanisms and basic giant puppet performance.
